Dundee show postponed

We have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Dundee show on the 7th August. We would not want to put on a show unless JJ was able to give it 100% and it was felt that it would be better to have JJ back to full health and reschedule the show. Refunds are available from the point of purchase and we will let you know when the re-arranged date has been agreed. Thanks for all your support…

Woodend (Glasgow) show Postponed

It is with regret that we have had to postpone this Sunday’s Glasgow show at the Woodend. We know the gig was nearly sold out so we are really gutted to have to postpone. We hope to announce a resheduled show at the Woodend for later in the year. Refunds for the show are available from the point of purchase.

JJ releases new song and is joined in Tolbooth, Stirling by Declan Sinnott

Click on the soundcloud link below to find the first song I’ve released to let you all hear from the “The Jersey Sessions” recorded by Deimos Valerkou in Jersey of course which we’ll be releasing later in the summer. We’ve been looking for these sessions which actually predate sunnyside P.A.L for a good while and we’re finally getting there thanks to Deimos.

Delighted to announce that I’ll be joined at The Tolbooth on Friday 25th of this month by Irishman Declan Sinnott and Vickie http://declansinnott.com/ I’ve been a huge admirer of Declan’s from seeing him play with the great Christy Moore, he’s a fantastic guitar player and I look forward to seeing Declan & Vickie doing their own thing. Tickets are still available and can be bought here at this link below. This venue is something special and I’m sure it’ll be a great night. Luv Luv Luv JJ xxx

JJ to play at Stirling’s Tolbooth

Singer songwriter JJ Gilmour’s last appearance at the Tolbooth was fronting ‘The Casbah Club’ alongside members from Big Country, The Jam . JJ will perform songs from his solo career as well as some past favourites, joined by keyboard player Phil Kane. JJ said “We are really looking forward to this gig for two reasons it’s Phil’s neck of the woods and we haven’t played here for about 5 years, it’s a great venue and it should be a great show”.
