JJ Gilmour returns to Merseyside for an intimate acoustic evening nearly 3 years on from his last visit. The concert is to celebrate the rebuilding of the Hightown Club and will combine both the stunning songs and performance of “Jinky” alongside the stories and banter which always make evenings like this so special.

J J Gilmour has been persuaded into performing two very special gigs at the Inn at Lathones near St.Andrews in May. Many, many times he has been asked to perform ‘Silencers’ songs that you all love and hold a special place in your hearts. The Saturday evening Show will consist of just that…..Silencers Songs. The Sunday Show consists of Songs and Banter from his latest release “Slocomotion” as well as some old favourites. Demand will be high for Both these shows and we urge you to grab your Tickets NOW!

JJ will be playing a gig this Sunday (3rd Feb) at St Paul’s Church in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. He will be joined by Phil Kane on piano and support comes from Acousticrat. The gig is almost sold out with a few tickets left so if you fancy a wee trip ‘doon the water’ to the beautiful Isle of Bute, the tickets are available from Musiker, 11 High St, Rothesay. JJ will be playing an ‘upclose & personal’ gig in The Griffin on Saturday 26th January. We decided to do a Glasgow show at the end of January as many fans and friends asked why we were not playing Celtic Connections. Sadly we were not asked so we have arranged this show to keep everyone happy.

JJ has played The Griffin a couple of times and they have all been sell outs and some of the most memorable nights we can remember. Tickets for the show are on sale now. Celebrating the music of JJ Gilmour @ THE PORT will take place on 15th & 16th of February (2013) in the beautiful coastal town of Portpatrick, Scotland.

The concerts will take place over two nights in the Portpatrick Hotel starting with an acoustic session on Friday night where JJ will be joined by his old Silencers band mate Phil Kane. The Saturday night will see JJ and his full band play loud and Unplugged… The after show party will give you plenty of time to meet the band, take some pictures, ask all the questions you can think of…
